Holy hell, my friend...I had quit LJ and DW back in 2014 when my dad passed and had NO IDEA what you were going through.

I am so, so sorry to hear about your four years and have a hard time imagining that funny and beautiful spirit going through what it did.

I am slowly reviving my online presence (such that it is) but would love to keep in touch. If you are wanting a clean break from everything, I completely understand. But please know I am thinking of you and wishing you nothing but the best.

I am so damn sorry to hear the sad news of your dad's passing. Losing a parent is the actual worst, and I am hugging you from here. ♥ It's something I don't think we ever truly get over — we just get better at carrying the loss, you know?

And, re: my shenanigans: Oh, Jesus, no one had any idea, M. I went somewhere deep and dark, and effectively split myself in two during that ugly period. (For the record, I do not recommend it.) But emerging on the other side has been incredible, and I'm all the more grateful for it. So thank you, thank you, thank you for your kindness. To know that you're still here puts a lump in my throat. <333
